Session Description Inside The Minds is excited to have founder and lead instructor Lee Childs bring the second step in our tournament training program. ITM Step II will take you beyond the ITM core and will focus on bringing your post-flop play to a much higher level. Step II is heavily weighted towards our hands-on analysis with many pre-determined examples to drill critical post-flop concepts.
This one-day tournament training sessions will focus on:
Planning for the unknown - Quickly recognize simple and complex recurring situations so that you have a plan in place and can quickly make profitable decisions
Maximizing wins & Minimizing losses - Key strategies for making more money from your winning hands, losing less from your losing ones and winning more than your "fair share" of pots
Pot Control - Using position and a higher level of thinking to better control the size of the pots you are playing
Play a Less Card-Dependent Game - By recognizing & exploiting specific situations and tying everything else together, we will help you to play a much less card-dependent game. Remove being 'card-dead' from your vocabulary and how you can take better control of your tournament destiny.
Real-time Hands-On Analysis - During our hands-on analysis, everyone will have the chance to play hands and receive personal instruction and participate in group discussions about many simple and complex poker concepts. Students will have the chance to learn better how players at all levels think and drill all course concepts in a visual setting.
